Skill Development + News Plans??

Oooh, today was a lazy day….

I am going to be truthful because it was! - but it doesn’t mean it wasn’t productive… (Saved it!)

It was one of those temperature drop days, just want to sip tea and hunt for biscuits (hob nobs of course) kind of days. Alas, although I did do the aforementioned… I did this at the desk in the office and every now and then flitted to the conservatory for a break and to stretch my legs and observe nature (kind of like a palette cleaner for the eyes!). Whilst my mugs were hot I watched YouTube videos on Photoshop, Illustrator, After effects and animate tips and tricks taking a few minutes to scour through Pinterest every so often to absorb new and potentially upcoming trends.

Colour palettes, layouts, effects, type etc. - What styles are currently in? What styles I could re-vamp and make modern? What actually is trending? How I can utilise this information to take forward into my next project? etc. These were just a few thoughts popping through my head..

It was a wonderful feeling - to be excited about the future. Not necessarily about anything deep in general but to have a project I could sink my teeth into and really make the most of the time I have in lockdown while client requests are at a minimum… I wanna see what I can do, how many personal limitations I can break and just have some fun with it (especially now I have soaked up a myriad of information from Youtube tutorials!)

Here’s to tea drunk aspirations and the indispensable information bible we know as the internet.
